Aquatone - What is it?
[11.22.2008]Aqua Tone is aquatic resistance training using a variety of equipment to progressively overload major muscle groups and promote strength training. Proper body form and alignment is taught and reinforced at all times. Although there is an initial warm up with movement, exercises are mostly stationary and focused on resistance training rather than cardiovascular training.
This provides for joint protection as well as greater resistance provided by the water.
This aquatic strengh training is especially good for those who wish to increase strength while avoiding the risks of high-impact exercises.
